From a nursery order to labelled, dispatched meals

Nurseries place orders in the Nursery Order System; the Order System admin turns those orders into production plans, labels and dispatch.

What changed

A live operations cockpit

The old switchboard just launched tools. The new Admin Home shows drafts, missing orders, completion %, Label Factory activity and feedback - all live.

Searchable Parental Choice

377 ingredients that mapped to parental choices are now grouped by category and searchable - what was slow and error-prone is fast and clear.

Allergies as clear pills

Ingredient allergens moved from checkbox columns to tap-to-toggle pills with a live count - quicker to maintain and harder to get wrong.

Sub-40-second label runs

The batch label run that could take up to 45 minutes now completes - with reports - in under 40 seconds on elastic Azure infrastructure.

Clear, dated pricing

Pricing moved from raw four-decimal cost fields to a per-menu, per-day-part price table with valid-from/to dates and inline editing.

Mobile-ready by design

A responsive Blazor interface means the admin team is no longer tied to an office PC - it works on whatever device they have to hand.
